2025 Badge Summit

Accelerate Montana is committed to working with Montana’s 12 tribal nations to identify competencies learned within cultural paradigms that are largely invisible to algorithms and skill taxonomies. Frustrated by the generic descriptions available from skill libraries, we’re working with the Blackfeet Nation to develop rich skill descriptors (RSD) that translate the living principles of the Blackfeet cultural paradigm into open data standards for inclusion in badges and LERs. This collaborative process recognizes valuable skills defined by the community in their own voice.
