Two accrediting agencies propose ways to ensure quality for course curriculum and content providers. The DEAC AQC process provides distance education course providers with meaningful and relevant feedback on how individual courses contribute to the mastery of learning objectives that may be part of a credential. The HLC Credential Lab Endorsement Framework is designed to convey quality elements of providers that offer content, programs, resources, and credentials designed to meet the needs of postsecondary learners, the labor market, and colleges and universities.
