At Virginia Tech, we have been creating a community of practice for nonclassroom credentialing for students.  One of our next challenges will be to take the activities of the relatively small community and expand the effort across campus to a variety of nonclassroom contexts.  


In this session, we will explore our approach to this important question of value of badging, as well as opening it up to the experiences and ideas of the audience.
