Degrees, certificates, certifications, and microcredentials have different purposes. Yet, when combined these credentials can be complementary. Come discuss outcomes from two projects where multiple credentials were part of academic programs. First, gather insights from case studies about how faculty implemented microcredential pathways using both industry-recognized and faculty-developed credentials. Second, gain insights from the development and implementation of new certification + degree pathways. Each of these approaches are geared toward enhancing learners’ career opportunities.
