About me
Cynthia LaBrake is a mission-driven program development leader and award-winning educator with over 20 years of experience in growing educational and training programs from ideation through launch. Her extensive experience includes curriculum development, workforce-aligned micro-credentials, digital badging, and backward design. After a long year career at Univeristy of Texas at Austin teaching chemistry and biochemistry to thousands of students and leading curriculum reform efforts, she recently became the inaugural director of the Office of Personalized Professional Success (OPPS) at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. There she has been charged with standing up a workforce aligned microcredential program.
