About me
Deanna Parker serves as the Strategic Initiative Lead for Solutions for Information Design, Inc. (SOLID) where she manages all facets of SOLID’s unique projects that fall outside of the company’s regular business while also collaborating with the Innovation and Strategy team to create new lines of business that align with SOLID’s strategic goals. Parker previously held the role of both Occupational Analyst and Marine Corps COOL Lead where she focused on research and analysis projects related to military and civilian occupations/credentialing.
Prior to SOLID, Parker served as a program manager with the D’Aniello Institute for Veterans and Military Families for nearly 5 years on the entrepreneurship team and oversaw all facets of numerous national programs and conferences that train veterans and military spouses in business ownership.
Parker is a Marine Corps veteran who served in various roles including legal chief and transportation dispatch chief before being honorably discharged as a Sergeant. She received more than a dozen honors and was deployed to Afghanistan and North Africa. Prior to her military service, Parker was a K-12 Health and Physical Education Teacher during the school year, and in the summers served as the Program Director for a youth camp where she planned and implemented all elements of the summer program for residential campers ages 8-18.
Parker holds a B.S. (dual degree) in health and physical education K-12 and biblical theology from Clarks Summit University, PA, and an M.S. in criminal justice from Marywood University, PA.
