About me
I currently work as an Instructional Designer at the University of St. Thomas with over three years of experience building out and developing the badge and microcredential landscape at our Institution. I collaborate with faculty and staff to transform their ideas into effective and engaging learning opportunities that align with broader educational pathways. I help bring badges all the way from design and inception through content development, and to promotion and implementation. My work focuses on knowledge, skills, and competency development and supporting verified badge and microcredentialing across the University. I specialize in embedding microcredentials within academic programs and finding unique ways to complement degree offerings. Previously, I served as the Manager of Digital Content and Communications for a Minnesota public policy nonprofit. My background includes experience in the US House of Representatives, sports merchandise operations, and foreign language teaching. I am a skilled linguist, proficient in German, French, and Spanish, with a passion for language learning. I hold a BA in Linguistics and Social Entrepreneurship from McGill University.
