About me
Melissa currently serves in a newly created role, Credit for Prior Learning Program Manager, with the Colorado Community College System (CCCS). In this role she works with the 13 colleges to identify opportunities for credit for prior learning through industry recognized and micro-credentials. She works to refine policies and procedures for CPL governance and deployment. Melissa also manages the System's digital badge platform, and is working to refine schema and graphics.
Prior to joining CCCS, Melissa spent nearly nine years at Metropolitan State University of Denver serving most recently as the Associate Registrar, Academic Records and International Student Support. Her experience brings in a balance of technical, records, and academic experience.
Melissa holds her MBA from MSU Denver, and a BS in Psychology from San Diego State University.
