About me
Yasmin is CEO of SkillsIQ a Not for Profit focused on vocational standards development in Australia, Asia and Latin America. Working with industry stakeholders SkillsIQ is focused on improving educational quality outcomes to ensure that training design ensures the right skills for the right job. An experienced negotiator and mediator, she has led major commercial and corporate negotiations as a negotiation consultant and coach. Formerly the inaugral NSW Small Business Commissioner and the first Associate Commissioner for the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission with responsibility for small business, Yasmin has a deep understanding of the challenges that face industry stakeholders seeking to employ. She holds a number of Board roles including Australian Healthcare and Hospitals Association, Founder and Director of SkillsAware and Chair of the University of South Australia's MBA Advisory board. Yasmin holds a Masters of Business Administration and an Honours degree in Economics. She is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Fellow Certified Practicing Accountant
